Live and work in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most unique and desirable locations, we have an outstanding Lead Cook opportunity on Vashon Island, WA. Excellent salary, benefits, work environment, and opportunity for career growth, are all part of the package with this locally owned company. Located on the island, this established property has a seasoned management team and is looking for a good fit for their team. Work, live, and thrive 20 minutes from downtown Seattle, or take the ferry to work!

We are searching for a driven and talented Lead Cook with experience in high-quality high- volume Northwest cuisine. The ideal candidate will be able to uphold and exceed our reputation for the finest fresh local ingredient menu, which is expertly served with an uncompromising commitment to quality and value. You will excel at station cooking and line set-up and crushing it when it’s busiest.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Two or more years high volume full-service restaurant cooking
  • Super cool under pressure – have fun while you crush it
  • Skilled and experienced in seafood and Northwest cuisine
  • An expert cook on every station on the line
  • Reliable!! You enjoy your work and you come to work on time
  • Ability to teach others what you do well
  • Work clean and teach others to work clean
  • Communicate easily and competently with the chef
  • Strong kitchen organizational skills
  • Honesty, integrity and guest advocate mindset

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Salary package – $55k – $65k
  • Paid vacation time

We are searching for a driven and talented Bar Manager with experience in high-quality high-volume craft cocktails, craft beer, and personalized guest service. The ideal candidate will be able to uphold and exceed our reputation for the finest GUEST service and beverage program on the island.  You will possess a proven track record and passion for maintaining excellent cocktail quality, while mentoring and developing others.  We take great pride in the development of our management team.

Requirements

The ideal candidates will have the following:

  • Two or more years high volume full-service bar management
  • Skilled and experienced in craft cocktails and regional craft beer
  • Ability to supervise and ensure the smooth operation of the bar and dining room
  • Ability to impact labor cost and keep a mindful eye on the schedule
  • Ability to work with and take direction from a top-notch management team
  • Used to working in a collaborative TEAM environment!
  • Ability to oversee training, cross-training, interviewing, and scheduling of team
  • Skilled communicator that leads by example
  • Honesty, integrity and guest advocate mindset
