Job Description 

Come be a part of our team! We are seeking experienced Restaurant Manager candidates to lead a new, multi-faceted, destination in the heart of Oregon wine country. Ground-up construction featuring two different restaurant experiences including a wine country oriented restaurant with northwest driven, locally sourced menu, and a rooftop bar and grill with casual fare including wood fired pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads and small plates.

This restaurant manager will be responsible for managing the front of the house, scheduling, guest service, team building, motivating and coaching, cash handling, and advancing the overall appeal of our restaurants and catering operations.

This is a locally based owner/operator and management team with a track record of excellence in the Northwest.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience as a restaurant manager, preferably in upscale casual or above with busy, fast paced environment
  • Good wine knowledge (specifically Oregon and NW wines)
  • A heart for outstanding guest service!
  • Creativity, positive attitude, problem solving and team building approach
  • Committed team player who can build rapport with managers, staff, FOH and BOH team and guests.
  • Track record of achieving financial results
  • Strong honesty, integrity and guest-oriented philosophy
  • Personal and professional maturity is a key attribute

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Starting salary range is $40,000 – $50,000/yr. based on experience

Pacific Coast Hospitality has been retained to search for a Restaurant Dining Room Manager for our client, a prestigious restaurant located in the Portland, OR, owned and operated by a local celebrated Portland chef and restaurateur. This American beer-centric restaurant and bar is perched high above Portland’s fast-growing Lloyd District on the city’s East Side. The dining room seats 50, the spacious bar seats 34, and the gorgeous outdoor patio accommodates 100. In addition there are five stunning private dining and meeting rooms to accommodate multiple, varied size private events.

 

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5 years’ experience working as Manager in the fine dining segment
  • Must know and be passionate about food, beer, wine and cocktails
  • Strong banquet experience very important
