Job Description 

We have an excellent opportunity for the right individual to become part of a successful, secure and expanding locally owned restaurant company with a 24 year track record. We are seeking a passionate, experienced and energetic Restaurant Kitchen Manager to oversee and lead this iconic restaurant’s $3.6 million dollar dining operation. This restaurant is recognized by PDX Eater.com as one of “38 Essential Portland Restaurants”. The ideal candidate will be someone who can be successful at the current location, while growing experience to open a new location in November of this year.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Strong high volume line and prep skills
  • Ability to execute menu consistently with the highest quality standards
  • Control costs proactively, delivering established profitability goals
  • Ability to train, teach and mentor with passion
  • Ability and desire to grow into multi-unit supervision
  • Delivering a great guest experience is a top priority
  • Strong operational skills in sanitation and food safety

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Starting salary range is $50,000 – $60,000 based on experience (generous salary increase when next restaurant opens in November)
  • $350 monthly food cost bonus
  • Balanced quality of life schedule (53 – 58 hrs. per week)

Expansion plans call for 20 restaurants by the end of 2016!

  • 3-4 years high volume cooking experience
  • Strong technical ability in all areas of the kitchen including prep, pantry, broiler, sauté, fry
  • High volume, casual theme restaurant experience preferred

  • Track record of achieving financial results
  • Strong honesty, integrity and guest-oriented philosophy

Salary Range and Benefits

  • Starting salary range is $42,500 – $50,000/yr. based on experience
