Job Description

We have a unique corporate position to fill based north of Seattle, WA in Whatcom and Skagit counties, offering an excellent balance of career growth and quality of life. This position offers  “family friendly hours” …no late nights. Yes…unheard of in our industry!

Our client, a well-respected franchisee of this locally operated, nationally recognized brand is searching for a Restaurant Area Manager to take over leadershipfor their multi-unit region in northwestern Washington state. The general territory is the I-5 corridor, from north of Seattle up to the Canadian border.

This company is based in the Portland OR market, with an expanding franchise community. They are looking for a self-motivated, problem solving, experienced leader to drive operational excellence and deliver on their brand’s core values of Quality, Service, Integrity, and Team Work.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Outgoing, energetic individual who is performance driven and able to work independently delivering non-stop results.
  • Positive and friendly attitude with the initiative to appropriately deal with General Managers and employees in any situation – new store opening and on-going training and operations.
  • A strong background in Multi-Unit Franchise Operations / Business Management within the QSR/ Fast Casual restaurant segment. Both BOH and FOH experience is needed.
  • Proficiency in food costing, labor costing and P&L analysis.
  • Restaurant management training experience a plus.
  • Proven ability to set goals and inspire store level teams toward personal improvement and operational development.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent critical thinking/problem-solving abilities.
  • An individual who is detailed / action oriented and demonstrates high standards of integrity, trust, and ethics. 

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Starting salary $55k – $80k based on past experience.

Job Description 

The best burgers and shakes in town since 1971! We are searching for an Restaurant Area Supervisor / Multi-Unit Manager candidate to lead and oversee this client’s multiple outlets in the Portland area. This popular with “locals” concept is committed to ensuring the food they serve is fresh, made-to-order and hot. They always buy their meat (ground chuck), halibut and vegetables from local companies/distributors, and the fresh halibut is cut, dipped in batter and breaded daily in the restaurant’s kitchens. We’re looking for an independent thinker, someone who is looking for the opportunity to help a small, locally owned and operated independent business grow. Someone who is personable and a bit obsessed with providing a great experience for both the guests and team, that understands the dynamics of working with and supervising small staffs in a high-volume operation.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years of restaurant Multi-Unit Manager leadership experience
  • Experienced in supervising and managing small crews in high volume situations
  • Ideal candidate has the dedication and energy to manage every aspect of the business…has an “owner’s mentality”!
  • A proven track record in building sales and guest counts 
  • Successful cost controls skills associated with running a profitable restaurant concept
  • Has a passion for food and guest service…has hospitality from the heart mindset

Salary Range & Benefits

  • $45,000 – $70,000/yr. starting based on experience
  • Obtainable performance-based bonus plan (up to $10k annually)
  • Annual performance / salary review
