We’re searching for seasoned Restaurant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Executive Chef, and Sous Chef candidates for upcoming growth opportunities in the Western United States. This is a high volume, national restaurant and bar concept that has a very strong guest following. Ideal candidates will come from full service management background with at least 3 years of high volume (4 million annual sales) restaurant/ tavern/sports bar management experience. Possessing a track record and passion for mentoring and developing others, delivering outstanding guest experiences, as well as achieving superior financial results is a must.

This upscale, casual theme concept takes great pride in presenting a menu that has everything made fresh from scratch. The menu includes innovative tavern fare including urban burgers, crafted sausage, wok dishes, fresh salads, pizza, fresh fish, steaks, sushi and artisanal sandwiches.

All management team members are responsible for delivering financial, human resource, and operational results through:

  • Unit sales growth
  • Internal mentoring and staff development
  • Guest first programs
  • Managing food cost and labor goals
  • Strong operational standards

This restaurant operator has a strong Guest-first culture, emphasizing their passion for quality and excellence in food, atmosphere and service. Hard work is an expectation, but it is the belief in a balanced lifestyle and fun work environment that sets them apart from the crowd. They own and operate over 20 concepts, with 49 restaurants in 11 states across the country and more on the way.

Requirements Ideal candidates must have the following:

  • Ability & willingness to travel for up to 2 months for initial concept training
  • Ability and willingness to relocate to any needed unit location (First unit to open in March/April, then every 3-4 month intervals. Possible locations in N. California, Seattle, Denver, and more)
  • 3-5 years high volume restaurant/ tavern/sports bar management experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Passion for developing and mentoring a team
  • Track record of achieving financial results
  • Strong honesty, integrity and guest-oriented philosophy
  • Personal and professional maturity is a key attribute

Salary Range & Benefits

Starting salary ranges are:

  • General Manager $70,000 – $75,000/yr.
  • Chef $70,000 – $75,000/yr.
  • Manager $45,000 – $60,000/yr.
  • Sous Chef $45,000 – $50,000/yr.

How to Get a Restaurant Management Job Fast

The job of a restaurant manager is never dull, but exciting and a great opportunity to advance your career and expand your leadership skills.  Managers must be quick and able to deal with sudden change, handle stress and express excellent customer service skills.

Often times in the beginning of a job search, restaurant managers find themselves frustrated by the lack of response from blindly submitting their resume to online ads or hiring sites hoping to get a call for an interview.  Even when your resume is fully stocked with experience and expertise at the most well sought after positions, your resume likely will sit in a pile of other applicants.

It’s been said; it’s all about whom you know—this couldn’t be any more true to your job search. Building relationships with those hiring is essential to any potential career.

But how to you build relationships with those hiring?? Locally owned franchisee of growing national QSR chain is expanding their operations in the Portland OR market, and is currently seeking both Managers and General Managers to fuel their expansion.

Having been in business for over 45 years, this company thrived and grew in the southern US and California in the late 80s with both expansion and acquisitions. Since the late 1990’s this company has doubled in size and is currently positioned for more expansion through new restaurant openings. Already well-established in other parts of the western US, this franchisee is looking to expand its current presence in Oregon and SW Washington.

This is a great opportunity to make your mark and become part of a winning team. Working under the direction of a District Supervisor, you will oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance.
