  • Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability.

Candidate must be located in greater Salem / Portland area. Responsibilities Include:

  • Understands the Profit and Loss Statement and helps create action plans for opportunity areas.
  • Ensures overall food quality and handling, safety, security, service and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Creating and implementing a best in class training system for the team. This includes continuous development, cross training, and mentoring.
  • Place all orders on a weekly basis. Develop and maintain correct stock par levels and inventories. Inventory is to be done on a weekly basis. Inspect deliveries for accuracy and compare actual and theoretical inventory levels to minimize loss.
  • Meeting and communicating with the guests of the restaurant. We want our guests to feel like they our valued friends!
  • Weekly scheduling and assignment of duties to employees and other management.
  • Working with ownership, company finance, and director to control cost and maximize efficiency.
  • Involved in local store marketing efforts.
  • Conducting meetings with other management in which goals are established and solutions to problems are identified.
  • Responsible for restaurant receipts and deposits as well as personally or delegating to responsible management the nightly closing out of the day’s activity.

Requirements Ideal candidate must have the following:

  • Prior management experience in a full-service restaurant concept; focus on bar a plus.  (5 years hospitality experience desired)
  • Be highly personable, self-motivated, and sports minded.
  • Demonstrate exceptional people skills.
  • Ability to execute high standards in food and beverage quality.
  • Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managers and employees.
