Job Description

Pacific Coast Hospitality is searching for a top-tier Michelin General Manager that has the professional experience, savvy, and emotional intelligence, to hit the ground running and to take this team to the next level! Execution, implementing systems, organizing the working tools, and hiring, training, teaching, and coaching your team must be WHO you are.

The ideal candidate has top-tier fine dining experience and can embrace the fun, comfortable, and relaxed aspects of the elevated dining experience. Be a guest advocate and an advocate for your team. Enjoy collaborating with hands-on owners, and learning something new every day. Be knowledgeable and aware of your numbers, and on-top of the business of running a business.

This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to build on an already established culture of professionalism, positive energy, and guest advocacy.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Four years of general management experience in an elevated dining restaurant
  • Spanish speaking a BIG plus
  • Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to assess talent and build effective teams
  • Previous work leading successful training and education programs in hospitality
  • Hands-on work ethic to direct your team on the floor
  • Have integrity and high ethical standards in every decision that you make
  • Strong business acumen with results oriented systems and organization
  • Be an excellent communicator – both written and verbal
  • Enjoy collaboration and working with a team

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Salary package – $85k to $95k ++ (starting base)
  • Medical insurance available

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, hard-working General Manager candidate for an outstanding opportunity to lead one of Colorado Ski-Country’s most prominent fine-dining restaurants. Set in Steamboat Springs, about 3 hours from Denver, this new elevated dining “icon in the making”, is already renowned for showcasing its delicious food with a menu focused on high quality, local and seasonal ingredients, along with a superb wine list, craft cocktails, and personal professional service second to none.

The ideal candidate must be an EXPERT at guest service, team building and training, trouble shooting, operational efficiency and restaurant management. Above all, they are the top advocate for our guests’ consistent, delicious, memorable, and exceptionally high-quality dining experiences, which is instrumental to the restaurant’s continued success. You and your team are all-hands-on-deck all the time, and a collaborative work environment with the Chef, the Sommelier, and the owner, is key to succeed in this position.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Three years working as a manager/general manager in a guest-focused fine dining restaurant
  • Very good wine knowledge – sommelier levels are a plus
  • Experience as a maître d’ is a plus
  • Be a personal touch guest advocate with energy & enthusiasm
  • Creative ability for marketing and keeping the seats full
  • Serving, bartending, and host experience are a plus
  • Cocktail program experience is a MUST
  • Charismatic personality – people want to be around you
  • Hiring & team building expertise
  • Be a decision maker – make it happen
  • Passion for developing and mentoring a team
  • Experience in product ordering and team member scheduling
  • Track record of achieving financial results
