Job Description 

Seeking a Director of Talent and Training to fuel the growth for this rapidly expanding family of restaurants locally owned and operated in Seattle, Washington. Dedicated to providing excellent food and beverages, and the highest quality service to their guests, this exciting concept offers fresh, gourmet Mexican cuisine, hand-crafted specialty cocktails, and over one hundred varieties of tequila. Located in cosmopolitan, vibrant neighborhoods across the Pacific Northwest, these restaurants offer an unparalleled dining and social experience.

The primary function of this position is to maximize the performance of Team members and Leaders at all levels of the organization. Designs, facilitates and delivers results oriented recruiting, training and development products and services that are aligned with operational initiatives and are impactful, cost-effective, and user friendly.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in management or human resources plus 10 years combined experience in full service operations, training and/or human resources.
  • Requires strong training experience in the areas of adult learning, assessment, design, documentation, delivery and evaluation.
  • A proven track record in motivating employees to achieve results through exciting, innovative methods of training and communication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully interact with internal and external guests at a variety of levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills using enthusiasm, motivation and an understanding of communication styles to successfully work with a variety of personalities and business styles.
  • Requires demonstrated abilities in project management and strategic planning, working with teams to take ideas from concept to implementation.
  • Requires the ability to travel extensively and work weekends and evenings as needed.

 

Salary Range & Benefits

  • $50,000 – $75,000/yr.+ based on experience.
  • UNPARRELELLED growth potential.
  • Very obtainable quarterly bonus program based on EBITDA.
  • Benefits package including medical & dental insurance.
  • Annual Performance / Salary Review.
