Job Description

Pacific Coast Hospitality is looking for a Restaurant General Manager candidate to lead this locally owned and run, mom and pop restaurant, known for great burgers, vintage sodas, and retro vibe. Opened in 2008, according to the Seattle Weekly, they’ve been “making burgers better than anyone else around”.

Can you say fresh? Every morning, a top notch burger technician readies the grinder and sharpens up the 14″ blade. The big piece of chuck is trimmed and sent through the grinder. No extra fat or nasty stuff is added to their ground beef, unlike other burger joints that use pre-made patties or pre-ground beef. Our client has secured its fiercely loyal following simply by making burgers better than everyone else around!

We’re looking for an independent thinker, someone who is looking for the opportunity to help a small, locally owned and operated independent business grow. Someone who is personable and a bit on the fringe, that understands the dynamics of working with and supervising a small staff in a small operation.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5 years of restaurant leadership experience (supervisor, manager, AGM, GM).
  • Experienced in supervising and managing a small crew in small quarters.
  • Ideal candidate is both able and willing to do the FOH duties as well as the BOH.
  • A proven track record in building sales and guest counts. Can speak to specific programs or methodology successfully used in your experience.
  • Successful cost controls associated with running a profitable program. Understands how to manage labor costs through effective scheduling and business level staffing.
  • Has a passion for food and guest service.  Has hospitality from the heart mindset.

Salary Range & Benefits

  • $40,000 – $47,000/yr. based on experience
  • Obtainable performance based bonus plan
  • Balanced work and life schedule
  • Annual performance / salary review
  • PTO benefits
