Job Description 

We have an outstanding Restaurant Executive Chef position to fill based in the Seattle market, offering an exciting new concept from one of the premier hospitality company’s in the city. Excellent salary, benefits, work environment, and opportunity for career growth are all part of the package!

We are searching for a driven and talented Chef with experience in high-volume restaurant and bar kitchen management. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record and passion for developing new menu items, mentoring and developing others, delivering outstanding guest experiences, as well as achieving superior financial  results.

This high volume (1st year annual projected sales are $7 million!) establishment takes great pride in presenting a menu that has everything made fresh from scratch. The menu is filled with familiar pub fare including hearth-baked pretzels, blistered shishito peppers, hand-cut ahi nachos, braised brisket sandwiches, and burgers made with meat ground in house….plus 20 beers on draught and cocktails.

Management team members are responsible for delivering financial, human resource, and operational results through:

  • Superior food quality
  • Organized and high performing kitchen, establishing and delivering strong operational standards
  • Internal mentoring and staff development
  • Managing food cost and labor goals
  • Guest first programs

Requirements Ideal candidate must have the following:

  • 3-5 years high volume restaurant back of house management experience
  • Strong kitchen organizational skills
  • Passion for developing and mentoring a team
  • Track record of achieving financial results
  • Strong honesty, integrity and guest-oriented philosophy
  • Personal and professional maturity is a key attribute
  • Able to cook high end food in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Salary – $60k – $75k (starting, based on experience level )
