Live and work in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most unique and desirable locations, we have an outstanding Lead Cook opportunity on Vashon Island, WA. Located on the island, this established property has a seasoned management team and is looking for a good fit for their team. Work, live, and thrive 20 minutes from downtown Seattle, or take the ferry to work!
We are searching for a driven and talented Lead Cook with experience in high-quality high- volume Northwest cuisine. The ideal candidate will be able to uphold and exceed our reputation for the finest fresh local ingredient menu, which is expertly served with an uncompromising commitment to quality and value. You will excel at station cooking and line set-up and crushing it when it’s busiest.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Two or more years high volume full-service restaurant cooking
- Super cool under pressure – have fun while you crush it
- Skilled and experienced in seafood and Northwest cuisine
- An expert cook on every station on the line
- Reliable!! You enjoy your work and you come to work on time
- Ability to teach others what you do well
- Work clean and teach others to work clean
- Communicate easily and competently with the chef
- Strong kitchen organizational skills
- Honesty, integrity and guest advocate mindset
Salary Range & Benefits
- Salary package – $55k – $65k
- Paid vacation time
