Job Description
We are searching for a dynamic, experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a high volume ($5 million annual sales) restaurant and bar in the greater Seattle area that is known for its style, service, hardwood fired cooking and versatile, imaginative menu. This opportunity offers excellent salary, benefits, work environment, and opportunity for career growth.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable leading and interacting with a very vibrant, urban, downtown guest and staff base.  This General Manager must have the ability to maintain the highest level of excellence in quality, service, cleanliness, consistency and value to produce the restaurant’s targeted profit goals. In addition, you must possess a track record and passion for developing and nurturing an environment conducive to the development and growth of all other management and team members. Also this General Manager will be responsible to delegate individual departmental tasks to other management members and is responsible for the results they produce.

This restaurant company has a strong Guest-first culture, emphasizing their passion for quality and excellence in food, atmosphere and service. Hard work is an expectation, but it is the belief in a balanced lifestyle and fun work environment that sets them apart from the crowd. They own and operate over 20 concepts, with 49 restaurants in 11 states across the country and more on the way.

Requirements
Ideal candidate must have the following:

  • 5+ years high volume restaurant General Manager experience and P&L experience in upscale casual or fine dining segments.
  • Experienced team leader able to produce results through others both FOH and BOH. Has lead and developed a team consisting of 5 or more direct reports.
  • Proficient in restaurant operations and finances including but not limited to budgeting and forecasting, labor management, cost controls, purchasing and inventory.
  • Takes initiative, provides direction, and work with others as part of a coordinated team.
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, hands-on management and coaching skills to ensure established service levels are achieved at all times.
  • Ability to communicate successfully and comfortably with various levels including management, departmental heads, customers and Guests.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work well under pressure; ability to prioritize, time manage, problem solve and multi-task successfully with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrate integrity and ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Salary Range
Starting salary range is $70,000 – $75,000/yr.
