Job Description 

Pacific Coast Hospitality has been retained to search for a Restaurant Beverage Manager for our client, a high volume, and award winning Asian restaurant with multiple locations in the greater Seattle area. This Asian fusion restaurant has been voted #1 Most Popular Restaurant in the Pacific Northwest Region for 14 consecutive years, as well as being listed as one of Zagat’s “Best Restaurants in the World”. Their house-made food offerings featuring freshly prepared, authentic cuisine that span the eastern Pacific Rim, from China to Indonesia, and Malaysia to Vietnam. They also boast a creative craft cocktail bar , Wine Spectator Grand Award winning wine list, and accommodating service in a sophisticated downtown setting.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience managing a high volume, high service level craft cocktail bar and beverage program.
  • Experience working in a large management structure and employee base is preferred
  • Strong bar experience required, detailed craft cocktail knowledge a plus
  • Ability to lead a team, assess strengths and develop individuals to succeed in their roles.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to interact and deal with individuals from all different levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas that helps get the message across
  • Up to date with trends in the restaurant business specifically within the craft bar segment
  • Ability to manage, anticipate and strategize on results
  • Manages deadlines, communicates timely and effectively

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Salary – $55k – $70k (starting, based on experience level )

Pacific Coast Hospitality has been retained to search for a Restaurant Assistant General Manager for our client, a prestigious restaurant located in the Portland, OR, owned and operated by a local celebrated Portland chef and restaurateur. This American beer-centric restaurant and bar is perched high above Portland’s fast-growing Lloyd District on the city’s East Side. The dining room seats 50, the spacious bar seats 34, and the gorgeous outdoor patio accommodates 100. In addition there are five stunning private dining and meeting rooms to accommodate multiple, varied size private events.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5 years’ experience working as Manager in the fine dining segment
  • Must know and be passionate about food, beer, wine and cocktails
  • Strong banquet experience very important
  • Experience in product ordering and team member scheduling
  • BUSY environment, candidate must have the energy and mental toughness to succeed
  • High volume “foodie” experience a plus
  • Passion for developing and mentoring a team

We’ve received another exciting new search for the Seattle market! Our client, a local, privately-owned and operated company is searching for a top caliber, experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead their high-volume dining location that showcases casual, yet upscale Italian cuisine using only the finest local ingredients for their innovative high-quality food and beverage programs.

The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and profitability of the entire restaurant.  This includes the training and development of both front and back of house management staff, scheduling, as well as meeting or exceeding budgeted sales and cost goals. In addition, the General Manager ensures excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff and a commitment to a do whatever it takes attitude.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 2 years of high volume, casual theme or above restaurant General Manager experience
  • Proven ability to lead a staff of 30 plus team members
  • Good working understanding of industry financials (building sales, product costs, labor management, etc.)
