Job Description

We have a unique corporate position to fill based north of Seattle, WA in Whatcom and Skagit counties, offering an excellent balance of career growth and quality of life. This position offers  “family friendly hours” …no late nights. Yes…unheard of in our industry!

Our client, a well-respected franchisee of this locally operated, nationally recognized brand is searching for a Restaurant Area Manager to take over leadershipfor their multi-unit region in northwestern Washington state. The general territory is the I-5 corridor, from north of Seattle up to the Canadian border.

This company is based in the Portland OR market, with an expanding franchise community. They are looking for a self-motivated, problem solving, experienced leader to drive operational excellence and deliver on their brand’s core values of Quality, Service, Integrity, and Team Work.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Outgoing, energetic individual who is performance driven and able to work independently delivering non-stop results.
  • Positive and friendly attitude with the initiative to appropriately deal with General Managers and employees in any situation – new store opening and on-going training and operations.
  • A strong background in Multi-Unit Franchise Operations / Business Management within the QSR/ Fast Casual restaurant segment. Both BOH and FOH experience is needed.
  • Proficiency in food costing, labor costing and P&L analysis.
  • Restaurant management training experience a plus.
  • Proven ability to set goals and inspire store level teams toward personal improvement and operational development.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent critical thinking/problem-solving abilities.
  • An individual who is detailed / action oriented and demonstrates high standards of integrity, trust, and ethics. 

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Starting salary $55k – $80k based on past experience.

Job Description 

We are seeking a talented Restaurant Dining Room Manager candidate who will be responsible for managing the daily operations of this high-volume, upscale yet casual fresh seafood concept located on the waterfront in beautiful San Mateo, California.

We are looking for a leader with strong wine knowledge and demonstrated group sales experience. In addition to the traditional responsibilities of overseeing guest satisfaction and profitability, this position also entails developing new and improved service standards and developing the unit’s group sales strategies and programs.

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a leadership position in an upscale casual dining environment.

  • Extensive wine knowledge is a must.
  • Ability to develop and implement a group sales program.

Pacific Coast Hospitality is seeking a dynamic, seasoned Resort Executive Sous Chef to lead the culinary team for our Oregon oceanfront client, in beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon. Our client’s establishment, whose menu, exterior and interior underwent a significant renovation in 2017 celebrates classic coastal seafood roots, with a menu focused on top quality, local and seasonal ingredients. Craft cocktails, NW beers on tap, and a whiskey bar compliment the beautiful ocean view. Breakfast and lunch are perfect for couples and families alike.

The Executive Sous Chef will play an integral role on the management team, demonstrating the highest standard of culinary excellence and team leadership. The ESC is responsible for culinary activities of the restaurant and catering team, overseeing all activity in the kitchen, training personnel, overseeing product purchasing and managing the culinary budget.  Menu development, team building, trouble shooting, and operational efficiency are critical skillsets. 

Requirements Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of recent Sous Chef experience is preferred
  • Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is desirable
  • Experience in luxury hotel or fine dining preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
  • Strong commitment to guest experience
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Creative, flexible, detail-oriented and excellent at prioritizing
  • Professional, friendly and engaging personality.
